|
KALINTA opened its first framing show room in 2003,
in the centre of Kathmandu, at Nag Pokhari, on the East Side of the
King's Palace.
Learning from Italian master framers, whose tradition dates back to
the Renaissance, we have tried to bring professional framing to Kathmandu.
Most of the mouldings are made in the factory, while some exceptional
frames are imported from Italy, and some polymer frames from India.
High quality acid-free matting has to be imported from the West. |

| A welcome side effect to framing business is meeting with local artists - some extremely talented painters, photographers, weavers and other artisans. A selection of these works of art can be seen on this site: Himalayan Arts. | |||||||
