These CD holders are hand painted using one of the traditional methods used for painting furniture, that is painting on cloth fixed onto the wooden structure of the box. KB09 has a tiger skin design on the back, top, front and sides, which was a popular motif on carpets and trunks in Tibet prior to the Chinese takeover in 1950. KB10 is strikingly painted with one of the Auspicious Symbols, the Eternal Knot, painted on the top.
