These tables are carved with the sub-tropical hard wood, known locally as "sissoo"(bot. Dalbergia Sissoo). The master craftsman takes several weeks to carve each table, which have traditional Tibetan and Buddhist motifs. A dark wax finish brings out the natural veins of this beautiful wood. |
