| FOLDING PUJA TABLES | |||||||
CLICK ON TABLES FOR DETAILS Folding tables were among the most widely used pieces of furniture in Tibet prior to the Chinese takeover: they were used in the monasteries, homes and nomads tents.Then and now, they are ideal as meditation tables in front of one's seat, to rest a book of prayers, a rosary or simply a cup of tea. |

Tables NT11 & NT19 are painted on pine wood with designs popular in Tibet prior to 1950. For a more modern look, NT17 is decorated with the Eight Auspicious Symbols and a golden lotus flower, using bold colour contrasts, and painted on canvas. NT10 is made from sisso wood and intricately carved. We no longer have our top carvers, so only the tables that are in stock are available. |
